ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release treatments are suitable for all stages of your horses life, Jonathan has treated young foals through to senior horses up to 42 years old. He works with horses, ponies and donkeys, from paddock mates through to high performance horses and has treated winning race horses.
Jonathan has been working with horses professionally since 2013 under his dedicated equine site EquiCare, prior to this he was involved in rehabilitative hoof care, which provided him an eye for seeing the intricate connections between the horses body, its hooves, tack, and the rider. Jonathan's interest is in whole horse health, and with his gentle, quiet and calm manner, horses readily accept and relax into his treatments.
Jonathan works throughout the greater Auckland area, with occasional trips further North to Whangarei and surrounds.
Update - He has now moved to New Plymouth, and will spend his time between here & Auckland.
Horse Treatments take 1 hour and are $120.00 plus travel.
Horse and Rider combined treatments are also available and highly recommended. Jonathan usually works with the horse tacked up and the rider in the saddle. He will treat both your horse and yourself, and you will immediately feel your balance and posture shift, your horse will re balance himself under you, and you will feel and see the difference in your riding and his carriage. Prices are $160 for approximately one hour and 30 minutes work treating horse and rider together.

He offers a professional and welcoming space, and has a passion and knowledge for helping people who have suffered from brain injury and concussions, or who struggle with fear and depression. Jonathan is a professional and kindhearted practitioner, to which animals and children all seem drawn to his welcoming approach.
Jonathan is highly knowledgeable and skilled in the method of ConTact C.A.R.E, and has pioneered a way to treat brain trauma using the flinchlock release method. He is committed to continually expanding his understanding of the human body, and continues his higher learning in ConTact C.A.R.E by keeping up to date with the latest courses and developments.
Jonathan also treats clients for pain and discomfort, and many are those who have tried everything to correct their longstanding or unresolved pain and injuries, and have finally found relief through the Flinchlock Release method.
When you dress for your treatment, please remember your comfort is the most important element, so do wear comfortable & appropriate clothing. Ideally something you won't mind moving around in if its required. We work with you in your most comfortable position, whether that be standing, sitting, lying or other.
